| Facilities
Ferry Farm has BHS Approved Livery
Yard and Facilities Centre status, in recognition of the high
standards of both the facillities and horse care.
There is access to grazing throughout
the year with horses being rotated onto fresh fields as required.
Horses are grazed in pairs only to prevent bullying and injuries.
Off road hacking is available around
the private estate and even the roads have little traffic.
There are two arenas (one is 60mx40m
and the other is a little under 40mx20m) and now a 20m lunge
pen that are all surfaced with Turffloat.
There is a fully alarmed tackroom,
and rug storage outside each stable for liveries use.
There is a new Equine Therapy Suite
with a Solarium, Equissage, Laser and Magnetic Therapy available.
Diy liveries have their own feed,
forage and bedding storage area separate from the main yards
feeds.
Parking is available for lorries
and trailers on site.
Unaffiliated Shows are held on
site during the spring and summer, with indoor shows being held
throughout the winter months at the nearby Salhouse Equestrian
Centre, just 20mins hack away.
Routine Veterinary visits take
place each month, with a qualified dentist visiting every six
months.
