Welcome to Ferry Farm and meet the
team!
Violet Hill BSc Equine Studies
Violet has worked in the Show Jumping
industry grooming for John Whitaker, in Equine Welfare and during
a break from riding due to injury in the Harness Racing industry.
She established Ferry Farm Livery
Yard in 1999 and since then has turned it into a thriving livery
yard. In 2001 she established Ferry
Farm Riding Club which now holds several dates throughout
the year.
In her spare time Violet competes
at show jumping, dressage and showing with her two horses Black
Velvet and Whispering Jet.
Graham Camplin-Smith BSc
Equine Studies
Graham worked in the eventing world
as a groom for Claire Brazil before moving into showjumping
and then going to work at Berkshire Agricultural College. Graham
joined Ferry Farm full time in 2004 after having an affiliation
with the yard and the Riding Club for several years. He is responsible
for the website and is also available for teaching and for schooling
horses.
Graham has (finally!!) started competing
his young horse Whispering
Breeze who, while tolerating dressage, has taken rather
a liking to show jumping! In her first two Dressage Competitions
she brought home fourth and third places.
